Tuition reserves the student's weekly time slot in the teacher's schedule throughout the semester and is required regardless of attendance. This provides financial ease and clarity for for everyone. It should be clearly understood that although the tuition is paid monthly, it is not pro-rated if a lesson is missed.
$60/month for four or five months depending on the semester
Lessons will be held in semesters with 12 lessons taken over 16 weeks.
Students must commit to a minimum of one semester.
Semester 1: September, October, November and December (12 lessons)
Semester 2: January, February, March, April, May (16 lessons)
Summer Semester Package: June, July, August (5 lessons)
Scheduled at a mutually agreeable time. A minimum of 5 summer lessons must be scheduled. Additional lessons may be added at the rate of $30/$40/$50.
Made monthly or as one semester payment due by the first lesson of each month.
Check: place in envelope and payment box in the studio.
No refunds on unused portions.

This policy is in place to protect the student, the parent, and the teacher, and serves to ensure that lessons run smoothly and without conflict. Remember that, while taken seriously, music lessons are meant to be enjoyable as well as educational. Your lesson time is your weekly reservation. My schedule is extremely demanding, and expenses are incurred to maintain the schedules I have set.
Lessons will be held weekly during the school year (September -May). Summer private lessons are scheduled a la carte while both the student and teacher are in town.
WHAT WILL BE MADE UP
If you or I cannot attend because of illness or emergency in the family.
No work/no school = no lesson.
If you /I have a conflict with a seldom occurring event i.e. school concert, audition /try-out, wedding, graduation, funeral
In the event of inclement weather, lessons can be cancelled and made up at a mutually agreeable time. Please use your discretion to determine your travelling safety.
Group classes cancelled by the teacher
WHAT WILL NOT MADE UP
The missed portion of your late arrival.
Lessons cancelled with fewer than 24 hours notice.
Lessons missed due to:
Other social functions
Individual absences from group classes
Students should consult with the teacher if they are considering discontinuing lessons to make sure there are not areas that can be resolved. If the student still decides to discontinue lessons, one month's notice is required. The lessons remaining in that month will be finished out. There are no refunds for withdrawals.
